I see you through this bright luminous light. I watch your every move. I watch you hesitate, handling and twirling the ring. Our marriage ring. You twitch your upper lips, the corners turn slightly down. You finger the damn gold ring, twisting and turning around your pinky. You drop it accidentally, as shock was brought to your face.
I slice through the air to catch it and glare straight into her eyes.
Then I whisper into her deaf ears, “Watch out bitch”.
She was taken aback by my response, till I realised it was her
newly wedded husband who had come in.
